I love the feel of this wedding. It is so classic and Southern. The columns at both locations paired with the beautiful pink and lilac details make this amazing summer wedding speak to me. Not only did Emily have beautiful details but as a couple they were great to work with. Emily allowed me to be apart of each emotional moment on Aug 8th and I know the images show that. Thank you so much Emily. I am so glad that we could be apart of your event! You know I love working with your family. I can’t believe how wonderful it was!

During the Spring we photographed Stephanie and Jason’s wedding at Gabrella Manor just around the corner from our house. It was a perfect April day! One of the highlights for me was that Jason is the brother of an all time best friend. Susan (sister & bridesmaid) and I had a chance to catch up a little and it was so special to me to be included in this day. Thankfully Brett thought to get a couple of shots of us together because it has been at least 5 years since we had a photo taken.

I love to photograph families and the Savage family is one of my favorites. Over the years I have gotten to know them and I am so excited to have documented their lives. From Jeb’s first infant images to baptism to farm photos and lots of holiday cards in between they have made an impact on my life. As many of you know Dr. Christy Savage is my Orthodontist and during the many tightenings and adjustments we have had time to discuss our next photo adventure. These images were taken at Lake Martin and it was a full day of fun! We got the classic images, jet ski images, leaping off the dock images. You name it we got it! I hope you enjoy these because we had a blast creating them.

On a side note. Very few things in your life can make a change in how you feel about yourself. My braces will be off soon and I want to thank you Christy! It was a life altering experience. I love my smile now and I am no longer afraid to show some teeth.
