Megan & Dan's Wedding Wire Feature: Arden Photography

Congratulations to Megan and Dan for being featured on Wedding Wire!  We've had several weddings featured with Wedding Wire but we're always grateful when our work is chosen to be publiished!  We absolutely love working with amazing vendors and the hard work really does pay off when one of our weddings is published.  Megan and Dan were married at the Sonnet House on a perfect Sunday evening.  Megan chose a bouquet of bright yellow sunflowers and the cute couple exchanged vows in the presence of family and close friends.  The grooms cake, which was a rack of barbecue ribs definitely stole the show during the reception.  We would like to thank everyone involved in this magnificent day and congratulations again to Megan and Dan.  Apparently, we weren't the only ones who thought your wedding was perfect!

Morgan & Patrick: Arden Photography

It's not very often that we have the opportunity to photograph a wedding where we get to see our really good friends!  I was so excited to spend the day with my friends from The Sonnet House and to shoot another amazing wedding there! Morgan and Patrick are probably one of the sweetest couples I've ever met.  They wrote love letters to each other and decided to read them under the oak tree, which is one of my favorite places on the property.  Morgan was absolutely beautiful in lace and pearls as she walked down the aisle to exchange vows with Patrick.  After the ceremony, the couple cut into the an awesome cake that page homage to both Notre Dame and Alabama.  I was  so thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful day and I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Friday afternoon! Congratulations Morgan and Patrick!

Megan and Dan were married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Sonnet House.  Sunflowers and variations of yellow hues brightened the day even more.  One thing was for certain; I'm pretty sure there was a shortage of musicians in the area because they all happened to be in the bridal party!  The couple's dog, Peanut served as the ring bearer but had a small sense of stage fright when it came to walking down the aisle. After a beautiful ceremony under the oak tree, the couple showed off their skills with an amazing choreographed first dance.  The guests were ultimately surprised to see that Dan had chosen a southern signature rack of ribs as his grooms cake!  After the wedding traditions of cutting the cake and first dances, it was time to party and really celebrate this wonderful day!  Congratulations Megan and Dan!

Knotsvilla Feature: Arden Photography

We are so excited to be featured on Knotsvilla, and mainly because it is such a beautiful wedding to be featured. Darcy and Seth's intimate ceremony at the Sonnet House was filled with such delicate, romantic details and absolutely overflowing with vibrant flowers arrangements that just steal the show! Check out the link at Knotsvilla to see this dreamy ceremony, especially if you are looking for your own DIY ideas!

Billy & Dawn Are Expecting: Arden Photography

Everyone has their own definition of photography and what they like to capture best. To us, it is truly about capturing life happening - life stories in progress. Dawn and Billy have allowed us into their life for all of their biggest moments. We photographed their engagement portraits, their wedding day, and now she is pregnant with their first child! We have never not seen this couple quite literally glowing with happiness - we've seen it, we've captured it, we love it. We cannot wait to photograph the new baby, and to be there for another important and happy life story! Thank you allowing us to be there with you Billy and Dawn!

Brooke & James: Arden Photography

Brooke and James said "I do" beneath blue skies in early June. They wed on the porch of the Sonnet House, with classic charm abound. Daisies decorated the table tops in mason jars - a perfect Southern touch; while pearls, lace, and sprigs of baby's breath decorated the bride. Soon after the ceremony, the wedding dances began. The bridesmaids kicked off their shoes and everyone threw their arms in the air! Laughter, love, and fun filled the night  - we could not help but be infected ourselves. They made their exit in a white limousine flanked by their friends and family wishing them all the happiness in the world!

Anna & Travis

Anna and Travis were married June 23rd at the Asbury United Methodist Church. Anna was dressed in a Casablanca gown from Bella’s Bridal & Formal that matched her natural beauty. The reception was held at the Sonnet House where guests enjoyed food from Jim ‘N Nick’s followed by delicious cake by Jan O’Donnell. Anna and Travis enjoyed dancing with friends and family. Travis’s groomsmen even put on their own show by singing “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston! This wedding was not only beautiful but a blast! Congratulations Anna and Travis!
