Photographing The Pointe Ball is always a highlight at Arden Photography! After all, we can always count on there to be some amazing dance moves. Alabama Ballet held its annual Pointe Ball at The Club and we were thrilled to be included in such a beautiful event. The room was sprinkled with feathers and gorgeous white florals by Ray Jordan. The Alabama Ballet treated its guests to elegant performances by the company. After indulging in the show, guests moved to a room more suitable for dining and dancing! This event is always one we look forward to and is always a blast to attend! We are counting down the days until next years. We hope you enjoy the photos!

2017 was an exciting year for Arden Photography! We photographed many weddings at multiple locations, but there is no doubt we are thrilled to be heading into 2018 with Blake Jefferson and his finance Katie Merkl! Their wedding will be in October of this year and we can't wait to be a part of their big day. The couples intimate engagement session was filled with endearing smiles and loving embraces. Just seeing the visible romance between the two makes us want to snuggle up and enjoy a relaxing evening with the ones we love. Happy One Year Wedding Anniversary EMMA & JOEL! | Arden Photography
I would like to wish my sweet sister and her husband a very Happy Anniversary. We photograph a variety of beautiful weddings but I have had the privilege to not only photograph my little sister's wedding but also to help plan her big day.
Emma and Joel were married Jan 28, 2017 in North Carolina. Emma was ahead of the Pantone color palette and selected "ultra violet" for her 2017 wedding before the color scheme was announced as the Pantone color of 2018. Emma's wedding dress was from one of our favorite wedding dress shops in Birmingham, Carriage House Weddings.

The Best Of | Arden Photography 2017 | Wedding Cakes
2017 was one of our best years! At Arden Photography we photographed many weddings and in lots of locations. As many of you have heard usually straight from my mouth, "I'm a cake connoisseur". Over the 19 and 1/2 years I've been photographing weddings I have tried countless wedding cake slices, in 2014 I stopped counting at 1600 slices. My favorite for years was vanilla buttercream but, for the last five years or more I have turned to all chocolate.

Two years ago today, Morgan and Patrick tied the knot at The Sonnet House on the most beautiful spring day. We are so excited for the engagement of John DeRosa and Claire Humphrey! The two are such a beautiful couple and were at ease together during their shoot at Windwood Equestrian. It is not very often that a couple just immediately lights up in front of the camera, but these two were natural when it came to allowing us to capture their love. We are enthusiastically awaiting their return to Windwood in October when they will be married!! Congratulations you two!

Morgan & Drew's wedding in May was a celebration to remember! The two wed in a ceremony at the Country Club of Birmingham with a reception following. Of course every detail was planned out with the expertise of Mariee Ami Wedding Planning Studio. Morgan glowed with the look of love all day long and her blue eyes truly sparkled. After the intimate ceremony, the party really began. We had so much fun at this reception--everyone there was dancing! Congratulations to Morgan and Drew!

Jenna and Andrew wed at Windwood Equestrian on May 10. Ever since we first met Jenna, we've been in love with her! Her excitement for her wedding was just infectious, so it made her wedding weekend even more fun. Knowing how energetic Jenna and her immediate family is, it wasn't a surprise when her guests started arriving that they were just the same. There was not one person who didn't have a blast at this wedding! Mr. and Mrs. Wilhems--We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
