Happy two year anniversary to Lyndal and Daniel! We can't believe it has been two years since this beautiful couple tied the knot! The two were wed on a gorgeous summer day at Church of the Highlands Chapel were they shared their intimate vows in front of their closest family and friends. We loved Lyndal's choice for an all white color palette. Her style was so elegant and classic, you just couldn't help but fall in love with the day! We always love working with Mariee Ami's team, and they insured that the day went flawlessly. Their reception at the Birmingham Country Club was a celebration for the books! Dancing and tambourines made for an unforgetable night, no one could just stay sitting! Congratulations Lyndal and Daniel! We wish you all the best and many more the come!
Maye & Clark: Arden Photography
The Grand Bohemian is quickly becoming one of our favorite new spots to photograph. This was definitely the case for Maye and Clark's glamorous wedding! Beautiful white orchids and crystal chandeliers always seem to make the perfect combination. Thanks to the lovely team at Mariee Ami, everything was simply picture perfect! The wedding and the ceremony both took place at the Grand Bohemian, where close friends and family gathered to watch this sweet couple exchange vows. Maye was such a stunning bride in a gorgeous lace dress. There are so many amazing places at the hotel to photograph a gorgeous couple and I think we took advantage of nearly all of them! Here are a few of our favorite moments of the day and congratulations to Clark and Maye!
Carrie & Brett: Arden Photography
My colors aren't pink and pink, they're blush and bashful! That's probably one of my favorite lines from Steel Magnolias and this is probably one of my favorite weddings to date! I love color, especial when that color is pink! Carrie and Brett sprayed the city of Birmingham pink, pink and more pink for their amazing wedding! The ceremony took place at St. Pauls and reception followed at The Club. Thanks to the lovely ladies of Mariee Ami and a stylish mother of the bride, this wedding was one for the books! Carrie looked absolutely beautiful in a lace and beaded Monique Lhuillier gown! I had a preview of her dress during her bridal portraits and I didn't think she could look more beautiful. I was wrong, she was simply stunning and even more beautiful than I could have imagined! This wedding has been the talk of the town! Over 600 guests were invited to be apart of Carrie and Brett's special day. Here are a few of our favorite photos and thanks to this amazing couple for letting us share this time with them!
Vendor of the Week: Mariee Ami
Amazing vendors make amazing weddings! I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the movie "The Wedding Planner". It's based on a fictitious character who lives and breathes weddings! It seems to be the real life autobiography of the ladies of Mariee Ami. We were fortunate to have two back to back weddings with them and it's always a pleasure to be in the presence of industry greatness. Every little minor hiccup that seems to be a disaster in waiting is always demolished at the surface when these ladies are around. Professional perfectionists is a nickname I've given these ladies over the years. With every singly wedding, that phrase never seems to lose it's authenticity! This is one of the many reasons this team is our vendor of the week. So, cheers to an awesome start to this year's wedding season and it's always a pleasure to work with the dream team of Mariee Ami!

Mo's Photo of the Week: Arden Photography
I love it when a bride is caught off guard and it creates a magical moment. My photo of the week is from Sarah and Jordan's amazing wedding at Alys Beach. Sarah was actually waiting on one of her bridesmaid's for a photo when someone said something that captured her attention. The photos that captivate me the most, are the ones where you become lost in the actual image. Even though her eyes are not directed towards me, there is a certain softness and innocence that actually takes you back to that perfect Saturday; to that exact location at the exact moment. I am in love with this photo!
Lyndal & Daniel: Arden Photography
I can't believe Summer is officially over! We've had such an amazing Summer wedding season and we're ending it on the highest note possible with Lyndal & Daniel's all white affair! Birmingham Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for beautiful pre-ceremony photos and Lyndal opposed tradition by allowing her bridesmaids to wear flowing white dresses that resulted in some of the most breath-taken photos all Summer. Elegant florals by Leah Hazzard and the team at Mariee Ami, truly made this wedding an event to remember. After the ceremony at Church of the Highlands, guests were invited back to the Country Club for a wonderful night of dancing. Congratulations Lyndal & Daniel!
Photo of the Week: Arden Photography
This photo of the week is from Lyndal & Daniel's wedding that took place a week ago at Mountain Brook Country Club. The light shined perfectly through the window and Lyndal's veil caught the gorgeous rays in the most whimsical way. Thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful day. Congratulations and best wishes!

Laura & Brooks Engagement: Arden Photography
Southern winters are characterized by rain, fog, and long nights. As photographers, this is not such a bad thing. Clearly exemplified by these absolutely beautiful and intimate engagement portraits we shot in Selma, Alabama. This is their family property which is obviously a wonderful setting for photos, but what make these favorites is the soft, quiet romance so visible between these two - aren't you just daydreaming of cuddling up on a rainy Sunday, coffee in hand, bundled up in a blanket with lake views now? Who better for this stylish couple to be represented by than Mariée Ami Wedding Planning? Maybe rainy winter days aren't the absolute worst after all?
Harrison & Matt: Arden Photography
Harrison and Matt had a gorgeous wedding day, perfect conditions for some of my very favorite wedding photos. St. Mary's Church is architecturally divine, and the ivy crawling up the walls is reminiscent of Oxford. This didn't feel like a Birmingham wedding, but, rather, one fit for the royal family. Mariée Ami Wedding Planning Studio was the perfect choice for such an elegant affair. The reception was held at The Club with stunning Birmingham city views and an explosive display of fireworks resulting in dazzling images of the newlyweds. Such a rapturous event to be part of!
Morgan & Drew: Arden Photography
Morgan & Drew's wedding in May was a celebration to remember! The two wed in a ceremony at the Country Club of Birmingham with a reception following. Of course every detail was planned out with the expertise of Mariee Ami Wedding Planning Studio. Morgan glowed with the look of love all day long and her blue eyes truly sparkled. After the intimate ceremony, the party really began. We had so much fun at this reception--everyone there was dancing! Congratulations to Morgan and Drew!
