The Grand Bohemian is quickly becoming one of our favorite new spots to photograph. This was definitely the case for Maye and Clark's glamorous wedding! Beautiful white orchids and crystal chandeliers always seem to make the perfect combination. Thanks to the lovely team at Mariee Ami, everything was simply picture perfect! The wedding and the ceremony both took place at the Grand Bohemian, where close friends and family gathered to watch this sweet couple exchange vows. Maye was such a stunning bride in a gorgeous lace dress. There are so many amazing places at the hotel to photograph a gorgeous couple and I think we took advantage of nearly all of them! My colors aren't pink and pink, they're blush and bashful! That's probably one of my favorite lines from Steel Magnolias and this is probably one of my favorite weddings to date! I love color, especial when that color is pink! Carrie and Brett sprayed the city of Birmingham pink, pink and more pink for their amazing wedding! The ceremony took place at St. Pauls and reception followed at The Club. Thanks to the lovely ladies of Mariee Ami and a stylish mother of the bride, this wedding was one for the books! Carrie looked absolutely beautiful in a lace and beaded Monique Lhuillier gown! I had a preview of her dress during her bridal portraits and I didn't think she could look more beautiful. I was wrong, she was simply stunning and even more beautiful than I could have imagined! This wedding has been the talk of the town! Over 600 guests were invited to be apart of Carrie and Brett's special day. Here are a few of our favorite photos and thanks to this amazing couple for letting us share this time with them!
Amanda & Bryan: Arden Photography
Amanda and Bryan were married on a beautiful day at Windwood Equestrian. We met Amanda last year during the beginning planning stages of her wedding. I remember thinking how gorgeous her eyes were and how I couldn't wait to see her as a bride! The wedding took place at the School Barn where family and friends gathered to watch this adorable couple exchange vows. I remember asking Amanda to describe Bryan to me. She mentioned that he loved the outdoors and that definitely showed with his choice for a groom's cake. The couple welcomed guests into the reception where they wined, dined and partied the night away. I can truly say that Amanda and I will be friends for years to come! We grew extremely close during the planning process and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this couple! Julie and Paul was one of the sweetest couples we had the privilege of meeting and photographing with this year. Their wedding had just the right amount of small sweet details like the jam and marmalade bar. They said their vows on the patio at Windwood Equestrian with a floral splay of color on the fireplace mantle. Then they made their exit in a grand fashion aboard a helicopter, charting them off to their new life together!

Casey & Matt: Arden Photography
Casey and Matt's wedding day was one filled with small details that made the event so big. From the strand of pearls, to the bouquets hanging beneath the altar, and the wine glass center pieces, nothing was amiss. While the ceremony was classic and beautiful, don't let that fool you! This couple was one that knew how to have fun as well! Their reception, with all its beautiful touches, was also filled with dancing, laughter, and bottles of champagne bubbles!

The fall wedding season is in full swing here at Arden Photography! But who could complain when you've got such beautiful people to photograph?! We often say that a happy bride makes all the difference when it comes to the wedding photos. Austin was more than happy - she was absolutely beaming! She smiled and laughed all day - we don't have a single photo of her where she isn't. Their wedding was full of elegant charm, pops of vibrant color, and handmade tokens that made it all the more intimate. Thank you Austin and Jake for letting us be part of your big day!

Morgan & Drew's wedding in May was a celebration to remember! The two wed in a ceremony at the Country Club of Birmingham with a reception following. Of course every detail was planned out with the expertise of Mariee Ami Wedding Planning Studio. Morgan glowed with the look of love all day long and her blue eyes truly sparkled. After the intimate ceremony, the party really began. We had so much fun at this reception--everyone there was dancing! Congratulations to Morgan and Drew!

We are so excited for this weekend! Not only is this beautiful May weekend a time to celebrate mothers, but the wedding of Jenna and Andrew is finally upon us as well. This couple was so enjoyable to work with while shooting their engagement pictures at Windwood Equestrian. Jenna and Andrew spent the shoot strolling around, playfully dancing, and of course attempting to pose their adorable dogs. Although the fluffier duo couldn't be tamed, Jenna and Andrew's photos radiated the beauty they posses both inside and out. We are so delighted to be able to be a part of their special day, and know it will be an absolutely magnificent event!

It is so exciting to see bridesmaids become beautiful brides! Arden Photography loves capturing the love between a bride and her bridesmaids. It is an exciting moment when brides and bridesmaids switch roles and are able to support one another on each of their special days! Its been two years since Arden Photography spent the day with Lee on her special day and just recently we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with her former bridesmaid Britton! Meg & Alan
Meg and Alan were married in Jackson, MS at the Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church. After the ceremony friends and family gathered at The South Warehouse, where there was lots of dancing…and more dancing! It was a great trip out side of Birmingham for us here at Arden Photography! Congratulations Meg and Alan!
