Look Who's Going to the Chapel! Arden Photography

Dylan popped the question, and now Aimee is a beautiful bride-to-be! The happy couple made it official on a perfect autumn day, and we had so much fun capturing the moment. Aimee was serenaded by musicians as she followed a trail of love notes left by Dylan, until she found him, ready and waiting, on one knee! It was such a special day for the happy couple. It is obvious that the two are head over heels for each other! We wish Dylan and Aimee all the best as they prepare for their upcoming wedding and their future lives together.

Liza & Freddy

Laughter is one of the most important ingredients in a healthy relationship and that is what this entire engagement sessions was full of; laughter. Liza and Freddy's love for each other is not only apparent in photographs but in person as well and that is why Arden Photography is counting down the days until Liza and Freddy's August wedding at Windwood Equestrian!

A Lovely Surprise Engagement: Ekaterina & Charlie

Ekaterina & Charlie

Ekaterina and Charlie met in August of 2011 at Dram in Mountain Brook Village. The two were there for a surprise party for one of Charlie’s friends, however Charlie was actually never told about the party. Charlie was called by the birthday boy and convinced to get off the couch and attend the party. (And thank God he did or the two would have never met!!) Ekaterina says as soon as Charlie walked into Dram there was an immediate attraction between the two. They spent the rest of the night chatting and ignoring the rest of the party festivities. A few days later Charlie called Ekaterina and asked her to go out with him and that’s when their journey began.

In December of 2012 Charlie and Ekaterina had just gotten back to their apartment after a night out with friends. Ekaterina was getting ready for bed when Charlie walked into the bedroom. He dropped down next to her on the bed. As he looked into her eyes he told Ekaterina how much he loved her and even pronounced her full name, Ekaterina Dmitriyevna Funtikova. (Which is no easy task!) Charlie asked her to marry him. Thinking that Charlie was kidding, she pointed out that he didn’t even have a ring. Charlie reached into his pocket and pulled out an engagement ring and Ekaterina said YES!! After calling family and loved ones Ekaterina was told that the ring she was given was Charlie’s grandmother’s engagement ring.

Ekaterina has really enjoyed planning her and Charlie’s wedding in general as well as coordinating her parents trip over from Russia. She says the big day will be very special not only because she gets to marry the love of her life but also because her parents are able to attend this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. The wedding is to be held this weekend at St. Francis.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...FALL!

“I loved autumn, the one season of the year that God seemed to have put there just for the beauty of it.” ― Lee Maynard

Fall is such a beautiful time of the year to take portraits outside. While the leaves are beginning their transformation from green to beautiful hues of orange and reds, Arden Photography gets eager for upcoming photoshoots.

Brandi and David will be married next April at Samford University’s Reid Chapel and then later celebrating at Windwood Equestrian, so we thought what better place to take their engagement photos than Windwood itself! Congratulations Brandi and David, we can’t wait for the big day!

Brooke & Forrest: Engagement Portraits

Brooke Totty is a childhood friend of a member of the Arden Photography team, which made the opportunity to photograph both Brooke and Forrest even more special. The couple’s natural southern beauty made this shoot fly by. Brooke and Forrest have set their wedding date for February 2014, so don’t forget to visit us again for more images of the couple!

Congratulations Brooke and Forrest!
