Vendor Spotlight: M. Elizabeth Events

This week's vendor spotlight is the amazing M. Elizabeth Events.  Everyone isn't necessarily  meant to be a wedding planner, but this group of ladies or should I say "organizing pros" definitely did not miss their calling.  They're always there to ensure a flawless day for the bride, groom and vendors.  Their "behind the scenes" hustle and bustle is appreciated by the entire bridal party, families and everyone who works together to pull off the perfect wedding.   We've had several weddings together over the years and we're looking forward to a fabulous 2016 season.  Thank you to the ladies of M. Elizabeth Events for keeping our brides smiling and for the amazing times that we've had together!

Vendor Spotlight: Kathy G & Co.

Kathy G & Co.  is experienced and well known throughout the catering and design industry. She exceeds her clients expectations and creates for them a one-of-a-kind event and food design that the bride could not have even dreamed of.

A recent client of her's gushes, "Every dish was absolutely authentic & top-notch - our guests are still raving about the food! - the service was impeccable, & the presentation was stunning. Everyone knows that Kathy G is the queen of catering in Alabama, but with this event I truly believe that you out-did even yourself."

Kathy recommends to newly engaged brides a few tips to get them through the planning process of the wedding:

Tip #1: The first thing any Bride should do would be to secure your date for your Ceremony &  Reception Venue. Everything else will follow.

Tip #2: Get Organized.  It is so helpful when a Bride comes in to a meeting already having an idea of what she wants. Having a binder or photos of weddings, bouquets and menus gives us a great start to create her vision.

2014 Maestro's Ball: Arden Photography

Alabama Symphony Orchestra held its annual Maestro's Ball. The gala fundraising event is ASO's largest, and the proceeds benefit the programs they offer for education, creation, and outreach. Accompanying the event is music performed by the Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra, and then a concert led by Conductor Christopher Confessore, followed by an elegant dinner and champagne.
