It's become a tradition with the Schilleci kids for me to photograph them every Veterans Day. Elliot and JJ are two of my favorites subjects because we always find ourselves in a wide-open playground. It's amazing to see how much the kids have changed over the past few years. Elliot is a little more prim and proper; signs that this little girl is slowly growing up. It's almost bitter sweet but for now we have to cherish the sweet giggles and bright eyes. Before long, I will probably receive a phone call to photograph their weddings! Here are a few of my favorite photos of Elliot.
Nolen's Adventure: Arden Photography
What an exciting time to be a toddler! I had such a great day with Nolen frolicking around the gardens and taking a few photos here and there. Nolen came prepared with his mother and grandmother for a full day of photography adventure. It took him a minute to warm up to me by the end of the session, we were definitely best friends. This shy but adventurous toddler really knows how to work the camera! His killer smile and gorgeous eyes really made my job that much easier. I can't wait until next year's session and thank you Nolen for showing this girl how to really have an amazing day of fun. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the session. I hope you love them as much as we do!
Mo's Photo of the Week: Arden Photography
I love it when a bride is caught off guard and it creates a magical moment. My photo of the week is from Sarah and Jordan's amazing wedding at Alys Beach. Sarah was actually waiting on one of her bridesmaid's for a photo when someone said something that captured her attention. The photos that captivate me the most, are the ones where you become lost in the actual image. Even though her eyes are not directed towards me, there is a certain softness and innocence that actually takes you back to that perfect Saturday; to that exact location at the exact moment. I am in love with this photo!
Mo's Photo of the Week: Arden Photography
The first look has always been one of my favorite photographs of the entire day. They're always a little unpredictable; I mean, some brides run into the arms of their groom, some grooms leap with excitement and then you have moments like this. These are the moments photographers live for- a groom so overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of his bride that he is literally brought to tears. This is my photo of the week for obvious reasons and for many more. Sarah and Jeremy are one of the sweetest couple's I've known. From the initial shoot during the engagement portraits, I absolutely fell in love with this couple. Sarah has the sweetest voice and I noticed how attentive Jeremy was throughout the day. So, I actually wasn't surprised by Jeremy's reaction to seeing Sarah for the first time because his response was also my response. You did it Sarah! You were so beautiful that you moved us all to tears! What a privilege to be apart of such an amazing day!
