A Look Back at 2014: Arden Photography

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2014 was a big, big year for Arden Photography; so many exciting things, beautiful weddings, the Equus collection. It was filled over with such gorgeous imagery, smiling couples, close friends, and new chapters that we are beyond excited for the new beginnings in 2015. We are so very lucky to have such a wonderful and embracing community and many friendships. We hope you are as ecstatic about 2015 as we are! We cannot wait to take you along for the ride next to us, and to allow us to capture all of your beautiful memories and stories for 2015! In the meantime, here is a look-back at a few of our personal favorite images from 2014.

Tara & Eric: Arden Photography

Every bride dreams of getting married under sunny blue skies, fair conditions, with a warm breeze - but rarely does it work out so perfectly. Tara and Eric must be two lucky people because that is just what mother nature delivered for them! And when weather conditions are perfect, there really isn't anything to complain about. These two were incredibly laid-back, relaxed, and all about that "go-with-the-flow" mentality. Tara was a vision in her gown and veil, while her groom was dapper and composed. Smiles and laughs were plentiful with this group, and the celebration continued on late into the night!  Windwood Equestrian was alight with soft candle flames and twinkling lights as the couple made their exit and said their farewells on their way to wedded bliss!

One bonus photo for this adorable flower girl and beautiful lens flare!

Liza & Fred: Arden Photography

This may have been one of our favorite weddings of the summer. So filled with happiness and love was this couple. Upon their "first glance" meeting, Liza whispered to Fred, "I cannot wait to marry you." Classic touches graced this Windwood wedding with roses and satin, and a few unexpected details like personalized bug spray bottles for their guests. It turned into a real party after the ceremony as the band heated up, the lights flicked on, and the guests started grooving! Congratulations Liza and Fred!

Meg & Alan

Meg and Alan were married in Jackson, MS at the Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church. After the ceremony friends and family gathered at The South Warehouse, where there was lots of dancing…and more dancing! It was a great trip out side of Birmingham for us here at Arden Photography! Congratulations Meg and Alan!

Ivory & White: Arden Photography

The wedding dress is probably the most essential item for that special day. Well, I’ll say one of the most essential items…….the groom is pretty important too! When a bride reveals the wedding dress for the first time, everyone’s anticipation is usually appeased by a mere gasp or cheer of enthusiasm. Last week, Arden Photography had the pleasure of photographing Ivory and White Bridal Boutique in Mountain Brook. I’ve never been surrounded by such sparkle, tulle and ridiculously amazing fantasy in my life. There were dresses galore and bracelets and belts and shoes and perfume and earrings and…Ok, I’m starting to get excited again! Thanks to Brooke Mason, the company owner, for allowing Arden Photography to spend the day experiencing the joy that every bride does!
