Wedding Rings : Arden Photography

Some of our favorite wedding photos to shoot are the ring images. Probably has something to do with all the sparkly bling, right? There are so many interesting and unique details personal to each wedding, and we love to incorporate those into the shot. While the rings speak for themselves in beauty and value, it is often those small details that really make the image! Often times, the ring photo says everything about the wedding ceremony - classic, elegant, whimsical, rustic, charming - you can see that in the details!

Tell us what you think! Do you like the simplicity of the rings by themselves, with the bouquet or flowers, or showing off one of your favorite (and often overlooked) features of the day - like the shoes? Got any ideas for beautiful ring detail shots? Let us know!

We Love Our Clients: Arden Photography

We loved shooting Brittany and Cory's engagement photos back in August! Can't believe it's already October and they are getting married this Saturday! Looking forward to more fun times out of this cute family! More photos to come.

Liza & Fred: Arden Photography

This may have been one of our favorite weddings of the summer. So filled with happiness and love was this couple. Upon their "first glance" meeting, Liza whispered to Fred, "I cannot wait to marry you." Classic touches graced this Windwood wedding with roses and satin, and a few unexpected details like personalized bug spray bottles for their guests. It turned into a real party after the ceremony as the band heated up, the lights flicked on, and the guests started grooving! Congratulations Liza and Fred!

Candice & Fielding: Arden Photography

Candice & Fielding were married in June on the beautiful island of St. Barth's. The wedding celebration was filled with lots of fun with family and friends. The ceremony took place in the old church in town and then guests traveled back to the resort for the reception. Long seating tables were set inside with lots of flowers and candles and white paper lanterns--so beautiful! Once everyone enjoyed their meal, the couple and their guests danced the night away barefoot in the sand. The couple lit a lantern and set it off over the ocean to symbolize their new union. Afterwards, they were sent off by their friends and family down an aisle of sparklers. Candice & Fielding--from all of us at Arden Photography, we wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness!

Bridesmaids: Arden Photography

It is so exciting to see bridesmaids become beautiful brides! Arden Photography loves capturing the love between a bride and her bridesmaids. It is an exciting moment when brides and bridesmaids switch roles and are able to support one another on each of their special days! Its been two years since Arden Photography spent the day with Lee on her special day and just recently we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with her former bridesmaid Britton! Congratulations to you both and we hope to see you in more weddings to come!!!

Farewell 2013:Arden Photography

There is a moment at every wedding when the bride and groom forget about everyone around them and the cameras pointed at them. This moment is full of love and excitement and as a wedding photographer it is the moment we live for. As we reach the end of 2013 and begin to say goodbye to such a wonderful year, Arden Photography would like to share some of these special moments from 2013 with you. We hope you enjoy and wish you a happy holiday!

Father Daughter Dance: Arden Photography

John Mayer put it best when he sang, “On behalf of every man Looking out for every girl You are the God and the weight of her world”

A fathers love is a special kind of love. They dread the day they will give their daughters away and that is what makes the father daughter dance such a remarkable moment to photograph. It is the moment that a daughters father truly is at peace and ready for a new man to watch over his little girl.

Mr. & Mrs. Hooper: Arden Photography

Casey and Austin were a delight to be around, Arden Photography is so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to meet these two wonderful people and their families. The weather was amazing and I cannot get over the beautiful flowers by hothouse design studio . Casey and Austin were married in the open fields of Windwood Equestrian. After the ceremony family and friends enjoyed cocktails and delicious food provided by A Social Affair. To top off a wonderful day guests danced the night away while the Fountain City Players performed.

Lena & Ziad

Lena and Ziad celebrated their engagement at Rosewood Hall in Homewood, AL. Lena’s dress was magnificent, matching the joy and happiness that filled the room! Family and friends danced and celebrated with the couple who will soon be making a big move out of the country!! Arden Photography is so thankful for the opportunity to photograph this event. Congratulations Lena and Ziad!

Hooray For The SEC! : Arden Photography

Can I get a ROLL TIDE! WAR EAGLE! GEAUX TIGERS! Football season is right around the corner and here in the south we all love our SEC football teams. We love them so much that we show our love and support any chance we get, even on our wedding days! In honor of the upcoming football season here are a few amazing portrayals of SEC football support! Good luck to all teams…(even in the Big Ten!)

Wedding Day Shoes: Arden Photography

Book the entertainment. Meet the caterers. Find a dress. Planning for the big day can be overwhelming but it is all worth it to make your wedding day the most amazing day possible. Although things like entertainment and catering are important, the little details are just as important to the bride. To some brides, the shoes are just as important as every other wedding detail! So, here are some of the wedding day shoes Arden Photography has captured this year!

Emily & Ryan

Emily and Ryan were married in Columbus, GA at her grandfathers home. Between the natural beauty of this magnificent backyard and the help of Bob Vardaman the ceremony was beautiful! Afterwards, family and friends celebrated along side the newly weds at The Big Eddy Club. A.G. Lighting and Bob turned The Big Eddy Club into a night to remember. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make this an incredible evening for Emily and Ryan. Congratulations!

Meg & Alan

Meg and Alan were married in Jackson, MS at the Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church. After the ceremony friends and family gathered at The South Warehouse, where there was lots of dancing…and more dancing! It was a great trip out side of Birmingham for us here at Arden Photography! Congratulations Meg and Alan!

Meredith & Matthew

Meredith and Matthew were married at the Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Al. After the ceremony the couple headed down Paul Bryant Drive, just like true Alabama fans, and continued the celebration at Cypress Inn Pavilion with family and friends. Congratulations Meredith and Matthew!
