Amanda & Bryan: Arden Photography

Amanda and Bryan were married on a beautiful day at Windwood Equestrian.  We met Amanda last year during the beginning planning stages of her wedding.  I remember thinking how gorgeous her eyes were and how I couldn't wait to see her as a bride!  The wedding took place at the School Barn where family and friends gathered to watch this adorable couple exchange vows.  I remember asking Amanda to describe Bryan to me.  She mentioned that he loved the outdoors and that definitely showed with his choice for a groom's cake.  The couple welcomed guests into the reception where they wined, dined and partied the night away.  I can truly say that Amanda and I will be friends for years to come!  We grew extremely close during the planning process and  I can't wait to see what the future holds for this couple!  Congratulations and thank you for choosing Arden Photography to share this amazing day with you!

Katie & Lacy: The Knot

We absolutely love when we have weddings that are featured on different blogs and publications.  This week ,we're excited to announce that Katie and Lacy's Spring wedding is featured on The Knot!  Amazing vendors and a wonderful  bridal party are always the key factors in having a featured wedding!  It really does take a team effort to make sure the day is perfect in every aspect of the word.  From florals to photography, all vendors play a huge role in assuring that the entire planning process is a success.  There are so many different things to think about when the planning starts but at the end of the day we all provide the best service possible and we hope for moments like this.  Congratulations to Katie and Lacy and to every team member that made this wedding a success!  Be sure to check the link below to see more from this spectacular day!

A Family Affair: Arden Photography

It's always a pleasure photographing a wedding when you have personal connections to the couple.  Well, there isn't anything more personal than photographing the wedding day of one of your cousins!  What an amazing honor it was to shoot my cousin, Victoria's wedding.  The intimate ceremony took place in the presence of family at Windwood Equestrian.  Before the ceremony, we took advantage of our Equestrian surroundings by taking a few photos of Victoria with our beautiful white horses.  It was such an ethereal moment!  The bride, adorned with a  rose-filled flower crown was simply radiant as she exchanged vows with her husband Kingsley.  Congratulations Victoria and Kingsley!  May the rest of your lives be as magical as your wedding day!

Happy Mothers Day!!

Arden photography would like to wish all the mothers a Happy Mothers Day!! We know just how important mothers are to our brides and our grooms and we would like to take a few seconds to illustrate why mothers are so important…(esp. on wedding day!!)

They remind us to smile and enjoy the day….

They remind us to love unconditionally….

Most importantly, they remind us to have fun!!

Bridesmaids: Arden Photography

It is so exciting to see bridesmaids become beautiful brides! Arden Photography loves capturing the love between a bride and her bridesmaids. It is an exciting moment when brides and bridesmaids switch roles and are able to support one another on each of their special days! Its been two years since Arden Photography spent the day with Lee on her special day and just recently we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with her former bridesmaid Britton! Congratulations to you both and we hope to see you in more weddings to come!!!

"Wedding Cakes Make Me Happy"

It’s Wednesday and my midweek craving for sweets has left me sifting through wedding cake images. It’s true…wedding cakes make me happy. From their simple beauty to the intricate details that some portray, each wedding cake I see amazes me. And let’s not forget how amazing they taste everytime!! I’ve pulled together a few that made me (and my tummy) smile just by glancing at them and I hope you enjoy!!

A New Year, All New "Must Haves": Arden Photography

I have to admit I have the utmost respect for wedding planners. As we kick off the new year I am certain there will be new trends and new “must have” color schemes for this year’s weddings and all the wonderful wedding planners we work with will make the transition with ease. In my opinion it’s the table settings at a wedding reception that truly display the skills of a wedding planner. From the simplest to the most extravagant settings each detail down to the stitching of the linens covering the table can make a difference. Here are a few table settings from 2013 that were truly stunning.

Hailey & Robert

Hailey and Robert were married at Cathedral Church of the Advent. The reception was held at The Club in the Signature Room. Hailey’s wedding cake was topped with a memorable keepsake, her parents wedding cake topper! After a night of dancing and fun the couple made their departure in Robert’s grandfather’s bright orange convertible in honor of the Tennessee Volunteers! It was an amazing evening. Congratulations Hailey and Robert!

Anna & Travis

Anna and Travis were married June 23rd at the Asbury United Methodist Church. Anna was dressed in a Casablanca gown from Bella’s Bridal & Formal that matched her natural beauty. The reception was held at the Sonnet House where guests enjoyed food from Jim ‘N Nick’s followed by delicious cake by Jan O’Donnell. Anna and Travis enjoyed dancing with friends and family. Travis’s groomsmen even put on their own show by singing “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston! This wedding was not only beautiful but a blast! Congratulations Anna and Travis!

Meredith & Matthew

Meredith and Matthew were married at the Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Al. After the ceremony the couple headed down Paul Bryant Drive, just like true Alabama fans, and continued the celebration at Cypress Inn Pavilion with family and friends. Congratulations Meredith and Matthew!
